Q.What happens at the consultation?
A.We will listen, we’ll talk through your ideas, discuss suitable flowers and show you designs that would work with your vision and of course your budget.
The more information you can give us the better – samples of colours chosen, photos of your dress, your venue, your likes and dislikes of course.
We will notice the small things – the intricate details of your dress, for example: we have just designed a wedding bouquet taking the shape from a tiny snippet of lace.
We’ll take notes, we'll chat, ask questions and can sketch ideas for you to make sure your vision is ours too.
Afterwards?
You will receive a written proposal. Sketches of ideas and a mood board where appropriate.
Next steps?
Simply sign the proposal, send in a booking deposit by return and you have booked our services. Easy!

Q. What happens on the day? A. Venue flowers are usually put in place the day before for you , unless there is another function, then they will be sited at least 3 hours prior to the event. Your bridal flowers will be delivered 2 hours prior to the event . If possible we will site flowers the day before depending on the venue, so you can get a chance to see and enjoy them prior to the event.
Q. How long before the wedding do I need to get in touch with you? A. Good Question! We often have bookings up to 2 years ahead but please always inquire as soon as possible regarding dates. We only take ONE wedding per day so we get booked fairly quickly.
Q. Help! I don't know the names of flowers or seasons they are available . A. Don't worry , this is all part of the service.
Q. What happens to the flowers after event? A. They are yours to take home, or give away. Most couples give the table centres away to special guests.If you require a dismantling service we can advise on costs and our availability. Please bear in mind you need to consider how and when you will dismantle decorations and who you will ask to do this for you if you are away on honeymoon!
Q. Do you provide fresh or faux (artificial ) flowers? We can provide both - or a mixture of the two. We often provide a replica of the brides bouquet in faux flowers if the Bride would like to keep them.
Q How can I keep my bouquet after the wedding? A. For fresh flowers -we can recommend a flower preservation service that creates amazing paperweights of the flowers.Alternatively you can air dry them yourself - they need to be hung in an airy warm room to dry out completely , or you can press or microwave single flowers in silica. If you would like more information about preserving flowers please ask.
Q. Would you make a design to compliment my wedding dress? A. Of course, we love to do that. We offer a personal service with a bespoke sketch of your wedding bouquet if you would like it.
Q. What do we need to provide you with at the consultation? A. Ideally a photo of the brides dress and bridesmaids, if you have them. The colours you have chosen , a sample of any unusual colours would be great - a small piece of fabric or a paint sample if easier - these are free to pick up at stores like B&Q etc. You will need ideas of numbers of table centres and anything else you would like decorated. Don't panic if you are "missing" any of these - details can be completed at a later date.
Q I have already found a design I like - can you replicate it? A. Of course, it does depend on the flowers and season but we can advise on this.
Q. Do you make alternative designs for alternative ceremonies? A. Yes, we love out of the box thinking as well as inside! Recently we have created designs for a Pagan wedding, a Gothic and Steampunk themed wedding and many others. All weddings are welcomed.
Q. When do we need to pay? A. After securing the date with a deposit of £100 or 10% if the order is over £1K , we usually ask for the remainder 4-6 weeks prior to wedding date. We do offer easy payment plans spread over 3-6 payments if this is more convenient. We hold the money safely and securely in escrow. Full T&C's are provided so you can feel relaxed about your flowers.
Q. What happens if the flowers I have chosen are not available? Fresh flowers are bought at market by Auction - we will do our utmost to obtain the flowers you have chosen but we will advise when a second choice is needed. Flowers that are "out of season" are usually very expensive as they are grown and flown from tropical countries, and are not necessarily at their best quality. We can advise of alternatives when necessary.
Q. Whats the most unusual design you have made? A. Well that would be telling... we have made a few designs for cats who were ring bearers , a floral collar for a dog and even decorated the hutch of a large rabbit...we love the usual and the unusual.
Q. I have found designs on Pinterest but I am on a tight budget, can you help? A.Of course. Please bear in mind that Pinterest images are quite often from the USA where the choice of flowers can be slightly different and images posted are often of the "luxury" or "wish list" variety! Use this media as a guide only but its a useful tool to get started with ideas.
Q.I have no idea how much to budget for our flowers... A. Its difficult as there are so many millions of variations with flowers. We have created some wedding packages - the link is here which will give you an idea of costs. Its essential you have a general budget in mind to share with your suppliers so they can tailor design ideas for you.
